Green Business Canada celebrated the yuletide early, hosting Green Energy Futures pre-Christmas business mixer at the fabulous Art Gallery of Alberta in downtown Edmonton on Nov 26th, 2015. With an outstanding musical ambience courtesy Orest Warchola and Terry Jordan, well over 200 guests enjoyed complementary food, a cash bar, terrific networking and, of course, Randall Stout’s architectural styling with its angular windows set against a sweeping 190-metre steel reminiscence of the North Saskatchewan River and Aurora Borealis.
Green Business Canada and the Alberta Emerald Foundation would like to thank all those who supported this important event helping raise much-needed new funds for the Youth Environment Engagement Grant Program. David Dodge of Green Energy Futures presented the case for the environment stressing increased energy efficiency as a business friendly approach to reduced greenhouse gas emissions. David’s presentation was followed by a lively question and answer discussion with a well-engaged audience. Our sincerest thanks to all those who participated.
